I strongly disagree with the legislation currently in place that grants Federal Prison Industries "mandatory source of supply" status. This law allows Federal Prison Industries to circumvent the bid procedure for government contracts issued for goods and services.

As a constituent, it is my request that you support the Hoekstra, Frank, Collins, Maloney "Federal Prison Industries Reform Legislation", (formerly HR 2758), which will be introduced in the 106th Congress.
